FUTSAL SELECTION IN AUSTRALIA
18 June -18 July 2023 LIMITED NUMBERS ITALY destination for professional stage 2023
 

Eleven Sport Academy, one of the few Italian excellence sports centers will fly down-under in Australia to select the most promising futsal and football talents. The final selection will take place in Italy while the first screening will be in Australia. The selected players will have the unique opportunity to join our headquarters in Italy where they will be trained and followed by top officially registered FIGC and UEFA coaches. This selection is finalized to open the doors to professional Italian futsal teams.
 
The Coaches:
Nicoletta Sergiano – First Level Futsal coach since 2009 
Cely Gayardo – First Level Futsal coach since 2021  – Award winning Brazilian player
Lety Cortes - First Level Futsal coach since 2021  – Award winning Spanish player
David Calabria – First Level Futsal coach since 2008 and trainer of professional goalkeepers
 
When:
From the 18th of June to the 18th of July 2023.
 
Where:
Sydney – 19 – 25 June
Melbourne – 26 June – 2 July
Brisbane – 3 – 9 July
Perth – 10 – 16 July
 
Who can apply:
Boys and girls aged between 15 and 22 years.
 
Selection criteria:
There will 2 hours training sessions with our coaches. For each player will be drawn up a detailed evaluation form. The ones selected for a stage in Italy will be summoned for further discussions by the coaches.
 
What happens if you are summoned:
During the meeting the coaches will discuss the evaluation, its results and will officially inform about the selection. This will be discussed with the player and the family since the stage may open the doors towards Italian professional futsal teams the player and its family may have to positively agree for a possible relocation. During the meeting, the selected players will receive the official invitation for the stage in Italy.
 
The stage in Italy:
The selected players will have the possibility to carry out a 10 day training stage at Eleven Sport Academy, the only Italian futsal Academy that selects and offers real opportunities of inclusion in both Futsal and Football Italian championships.
 
How many players we meet while in Australia:
During the Australian selection tour, we will evaluate a total of 1000 young players, 250 in each city.
 
How many players are selected:
60 in each city (+ 10 backups). An average of approx. 35% of the players are selected. As this percentage may seem quite low, we prefer to offer the Italian stage opportunity only to those players who really make the difference, to the ones that may really have the possibility to play in the Italian championship
